Renault Renew Westmeath GAA Sponsorship
Last Wednesday the 16th of November was the launch of the new Westmeath GAA jersey in P. O'Briens Renault dealership in, the heart of Westmeath, Mullingar. it was a special night for fans of Westmeath GAA and car enthusiasts as they got to see the new Westmeath jersey and also got to see the new Renault Megane Grand Coupe before it's release next January as well as the upcoming Renault Scenic.
The new Renault Megane Grand Coupe will replace both the Renault Fluence and Laguna when it goes on sale and guests couldn't wait to see the interior of the car which has got ambient lighting and the most comfortable seats you could sit in, that is before you turn on the heated seats. There is ample boot space and guests were saying that it is the perfect replacement for the Laguna with many registering their interest in the Grand Coupe on the night. The Megane Grand Coupe will go on sale in January and it will start at €24,490 before delivery charges.
The new Megane was certainly the star of the show (car wise) but we also had the Renault Scenic in attendance and with her new honeycomb colour she certainly stood out from the crowd and gathered lots of attention early in the night (and the next day). The new Scenic will come with 20' alloys as standard and those alloys pictured above are customisable to suit the personality of the driver. The new Scenic will be the safest car on the roads from December after passing the latest European NCAP safety test thanks to its headsup display, 360 degree parking sensors and reversing camera. It also promises to give you the most amount space available with 59.9lts of storage compared to it's nearest rival with just 39lts of storage. The new Scenic will go on sale in December and you can register your interest with us anytime.
Although lots of people came to see the previews of the new Renault vehicles and the launch of the new jersey most people came to see the men pictured above Tom Cribben, Michael Ryan, Marc O' Se, Marty Morrissey and Dessie Dolan. It was great to have these professionals in with us and they are great entertainers keeping the crowd amused during the event and they were happy to pose for photographs and sign autographs before and after the event. Party Marty (as he will forever be known as in P. O'Briens) was the mc for the night and launched the new Westmeath jersey when he called some of the Westmeath team on stage and they were wearing the new jersey. Marty Morrissey interviewed some of the players before introducing the guests and held a 'Sunday Game' style interview with them before opening the floor to questions.
It was an excellant eveing with all the guests commenting on how much fun they had while been impressed by the layout of the showroom with many customers saying that it was unrecognisable to their previous visits.
We want to thank everyone that attended and we hope you had as much fun as we did during the event, you will find some more pictures from the night below or visit our facebook page for many more.
