Hyundai is the No. 1 Car Brand in the Ireland
O’Briens Hyundai is delighted to announce that Hyundai is the No 1 car brand in Ireland, with 4,590 passenger cars sold during the month of January 2017. This is a continuation of 2016 figures when the hyundai Tucson was the best selling car of the year.
The Hyundai January sales result can be attributed to an unprecedented consumer reaction to the All New Hyundai Tucson, with record model sales resulting in the Tucson being Ireland’s best-selling passenger car once again, and significant percentage growth in sales of the Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20 and Hyundai i30 model ranges. We also have the new Hyundai Ioniq, the first car to give consumers the choice of hybrid, electric and plug in hybrid car. Sales figures for the Ioniq have risen and we can see it gaining traction as the warmer months come in.
The Hyundai dealer network nationwide have recorded large consumer footfall during the month of January and consumer demand for February car registrations across the Hyundai range is looking very strong.
